Cancellation Policy

Overview
At Viewsy Marketing Agency, we understand that business needs change. This policy outlines the terms and procedures for canceling your subscription to our social media marketing services.
Cancellation Notice Period
All cancellations require 30 days' written notice. This notice period allows us to:
- Complete any in-progress campaigns and deliverables
- Properly transition account management back to you
- Prepare final reports and documentation
- Ensure smooth handover of all assets and access
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period after the 30-day notice period is satisfied. You will continue to receive full services during this time.
How to Cancel
To initiate a cancellation:
- Send a written cancellation request to cancel@viewsy.agency
- Include your account information and the reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)
- We will confirm receipt within 2 business days
- We may schedule an exit interview to gather feedback (optional)
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation with your final service date
Verbal cancellations or cancellations through unofficial channels will not be processed. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
Billing Upon Cancellation
Understanding your billing obligations:
Current Billing Period
You are responsible for payment through the end of your current billing cycle. Monthly fees are not pro-rated for partial months, regardless of when you submit your cancellation notice.
30-Day Notice Period
If your 30-day notice period extends into the next billing cycle, you will be charged for that additional month. Services will continue during this period.
Outstanding Invoices
Any unpaid invoices or additional service fees must be paid before cancellation is finalized. Access to reports and final deliverables may be withheld until all payments are settled.
What Happens After Cancellation
Upon cancellation, the following will occur:
Account Access
- All social media account access will be transferred back to you
- We will remove Viewsy team members from all platforms
- You will receive updated login credentials where applicable
- Any two-factor authentication will be removed from our systems
Final Deliverables
- Final performance report summarizing your campaign results
- Transfer of all content libraries and media assets
- Documentation of current strategies and campaign settings
- Export of analytics data from the service period
Data Retention
After cancellation, we will retain your data according to our Privacy Policy. You may request immediate deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Pausing Services
Instead of canceling, you may pause your services for up to 3 months:
- No charges during the pause period
- Your account settings and historical data are preserved
- Reactivation requires 7 days' notice
- Maximum pause duration: 3 months (90 days)
- Available once per year
Contact us to discuss pausing your account if you need a temporary break from services.
Downgrading Your Plan
As an alternative to cancellation, you can downgrade to a lower-tier plan:
- Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
- No penalties or fees for downgrading
- Services will be adjusted to match your new plan level
- No refunds for unused services at the higher tier
Viewsy-Initiated Cancellation
Viewsy reserves the right to cancel services under certain circumstances:
- Non-payment or repeated late payments
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Abusive behavior toward staff
- Illegal activities or requests
- Failure to provide necessary account access or cooperation
In such cases, we will provide written notice and an opportunity to remedy the situation before terminating services. Refunds will not be provided for Viewsy-initiated cancellations due to client violations.
Re-Enrollment
Former clients are welcome to re-enroll:
- Subject to current availability and pricing
- Onboarding fee may apply for re-enrollment within 6 months of cancellation
- The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to re-enrollments
- Previous account data may not be recoverable after extended periods
